TASTING NOTES :  The fruit comes from the Colchagua valley, where soils are of low fertility allowing the growth control of the vines. This warm valley is ideal for the Carménère to slowly develop full maturity, silky tannins, an elegant structure and subtle ripe fruit aromas. Intense granate colour with violet reflections, deep aromas of ripe red fruits and notes of blackberry jam are mixed with soft fragrances of black pepper, sweet spices and a floral touch. Ripe fruit mouthfeel. Silky tannins complement a rich structure.

ABOUT THE WINERY : The selected vineyards of the Leyda Valley have a strong maritime influence due to their proximity to the Pacific Ocean. The area is cold, making the grapes to ripen slowly and retain better acidity and aromatic quality.The purpose is to make a wine that is a faithful reflection of this area, through an optimal combination of soil, climate and vines.
