| True to the variety, this vintage shows plenty of primary fruit characters. The palate is earthy with a touch of spice and the soft tannins rounds it out nicely, adding length for a silky finish. The fruit was cool fermented to preserve primary fruit characters and pressed to 1 and 2 year old French and American oak hogsheads to undergo malolactic fermentation. Constant evaluation during time in barrel ensured that we bottled this wine at the perfect time. Acid 7.1 pH 3.47 Alcohol 14.5% |
